Public admission information

Choshokaku situated in the southern premises and the north garden situated in the northern premises are opened to the public.
Please see below for the opening time, closed days and admission fees.

■Opening time
Open from 9:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. (Room hire is available till 8:00 P.M.)

■Closed days
Closed on Mondays (in the case of a public holiday, closed on the immediately following Tuesday), Year end and New Year (Dec. 29 €- €Jan. 3)

An individual with an identification booklet for the physically disabled is exempted from admission fee. Admission fee exemption is also extended to others. Inquiries by phone are also acceptable.

North Garden (Northern premises)

Free (No application needed)

North Garden guided building tour

A guided tour to inspect the interior of Bangaro in the northern premises and the north garden is organized on Wednesday and Saturday every week. Reservations are accepted on the first-come, first-served basis at the phone number listed under "Inquiries" below.

How to get here

Get off the subway Higashiyama line at "Kakuozan." About 10 minutes on foot to the north from Exit 1
(* No car park is available, so please use public transportation.)

For visitors using "Nagoya" or "Sakae". Take the subway Higashiyama line (bound for Fujigaoka) and get off at "Kakuozan."

For visitors using "Kanayama". Take the subway Meijo line going clockwise and change trains at Sakae to the Higashiyama line (bound for Fujigaoka). Get off at "Kakuozan."

For Visitors using "Ozone" Take the subway Meijo line going anticlockwise and change trains at Sakae to the Higashiyama line (bound for Fujigaoka). Get off at "Kakuozan."
Or take the subway Meijo line going clockwise and change trains at Motoyamaeki to the Higashiyama line (bound for Takabata). Get off at "Kakuozan."

No fire or smoking is allowed on the premises.
No pets such as dogs or cats are permitted to enter (with the exception of service animals).
